Experimenting and Optimizing Design Parameters for a Pneumatic Hill-Drop Rapeseed Metering Device

The planter plate is the most important component of pneumatic hill-drop seed metering system for rapeseed. structural parameters are primary determinants rape planting. key and operational parameters, such as layout suction hole, its diameter, shape, were determined through theoretical analysis. Fluent used to simulate flow field various types holes, effect hole shape on change in chamber shell analyzed. Under same boundary conditions, results indicate that maximum velocity end face horn average pressure section highest. Using a high-speed camera, effects diameter filling performance studied, simulation analysis validated. optimal device operating follows: speed 30–70 r/min negative −2.5–−1.5 kPa. influence working rotational arrangement was studied within parameter range. In order improve rational close planting planter, multi-objective optimization design verification test also conducted. showed with best combination empty broadcast rate does not go above 3%, number qualified below 96%, difference between them result 5.5%.
